La Banda Fantástica is truly a fantastic band, formed by musicians from Argentina, Chile and Mexico living in the Netherlands. They explore and connect the different sub-genres of cumbia, from Peruvian Chicha (psychedelic guitar cumbia), over Mexican Cumbia Sonidera, to Cumbia Villera (Argentina) and traditional cumbia from Colombia, but are not afraid to play some covers of Black Sabbath or The Beatles, that is: in a Latin way of course…

 

What to expect on stage?

Flamboyant outfits, leopard print leggings and a high dose of musical madness driven by guitar, bass and lots of percussion.
